Build fairness, diversity and
inclusion in the profession
A professional registration system that enables participation across
the diversity of our society in the UK will help ensure engineering serves
the needs of all and continues to act in the public interest, fostering
a culture of fairness and inclusion throughout the profession.
We will have succeeded if fairness in professional registration is
demonstrably strengthened, equality of opportunity is protected, structural
barriers are reduced through proportionate action, and registrants
are equipped to uphold inclusive practice in their professional roles.
