Strengthen commitment
to ethical practice and
global responsibility
Strengthening expectations for ethical and globally responsible
decision-making – the exercise of sound judgement that takes account
of the wider and longer-term consequences of decisions in an interconnected
world – will maintain trust in the engineering profession’s commitment to meet
today’s needs and those of future generations.
We will have succeeded if registered engineers and technicians have greater
confidence and competence to navigate and respond to ethical issues they
face in practice, balancing the needs of all people within the limits of our planet.
